Este corregimiento dista a 150 Km de Quibd\u00f3, capital del departamento, est\u00e1 habitado por 144 familias para un total de 896 afrocolombianos\u00a0 que viven de la agricultura de subsistencia, sector que tambi\u00e9n result\u00f3 seriamente afectado por dicho fen\u00f3meno natural.<\/p>\n
